It’s official now that Apple is launching its new iPhone X this September 12th. So let’s take a look at the anticipated new features and upgrades that we might see on this latest flagship.
Apple is going to unveil its series of new iPhones on September 12 in collaboration with a US technology firm. The company is sending out invites to a major keynote which will be held at its Cupertino HQ. It is not yet confirmed, but we might also see a launch of upgraded iPhone XS alongside a bigger XS Plus and an affordable (cheap priced) iPhone.
What more should we expect from these upcoming iPhones? Let’s take a sneak peek.
BIGGER AND FASTER
We all know that the current iPhone X has a stunning 5.8-inch large display which covers almost the entire front of the phone. Apple’s rival companies like Samsung are launching even bigger sized phones and the Cupertino-based company doesn’t want to be left behind.
Rumours suggest that this September 12, Apple will launch a huge 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Plus. Though it is expected that design will remain the same as the current iPhone X but it will be available in a much larger package. With its new A12 processor, it is expected that this new iPhone would be much faster than its current sibling.
Another report also speculates that this upcoming iPhone Xs Plus will be equipped with improved battery life.
AN ALL-SCREEN PHONE ON A BUDGET
One of the biggest criticisms that the current iPhone X had to face after the launch was its very high price tag. This was Apple’s first £1,000 iPhone. And despite the highest price, Apple didn’t face any issues selling the iPhone X.
Apple is fully aware that not everyone can afford high priced iPhones, so and as per the rumours, the company will reveal a new ‘budget’ iPhone X with fewer specs and a lower price tag. It is still unclear how much cheap this new iPhone X will be.
Apple is adding a fast charger in the box and this news will definitely please most iPhone users. An image that was recently leaked which claimed to show this new charger could add hours of charge just in a short span of time.
As of now, there is no official confirmation that the company will supply this new charger or not but it would certainly make a lot of sense. It is also expected that a faster wireless charging feature will also be a part of Apple’s new upcoming iPhone.
Samsung has announced its new Galaxy Note 9 which offers 512GB of storage. On the other hand, Apple already offers 256GB of memory in its iPhone line-up. It could be doubled on the upcoming iPhone, rumours suggest.
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CAMERA
iPhone’s camera is no doubt one of the best cameras in the smartphone world and every year the company introduces new upgrades to make the camera even better. Last year, the firm added an improved low light feature which allows the camera to take better images even in low light.
This year we could see iPhones in multiple colour schemes. The cheaper iPhone model is rumoured to come in different colours like Blue, Gold and Red.
